World’s Most Expensive Green Tea

The Japanese high end (and I mean REALLY high end) tea producer Royal Blue Tea Japan Co. will start taking reservations for 750ml bottles of green tea priced at US$2,420.25 each, later this month. To make the King of Green Masa Super Premium, handpicked rare tea leaves from Shizuoka Prefecture are infused for three days without any additives.The tea will come in a wine bottle with a wooden box. Only 36 bottles will be made available, and they will be sent out to some very lucky, and rich people either in February or March of the new year.

I love my green tea, but at almost 2500 dollars a bottle, I’ll stick with my usual brand!
